Why a CRM does not solve sales on its own
Implementing a CRM without a defined process often creates a system nobody updates. See what needs to come before the tool.

Short answer
A CRM records and organizes sales work. If a company has not yet defined stages, owners and progression criteria, the tool simply reproduces the same disorganization somewhere else.
What needs to come first
- Clear stages: what each pipeline stage means and when an opportunity moves forward.
- Owners: who handles inquiries, who follows up and who decides.
- Next action: every open opportunity needs a dated next step.
- Meaningful numbers: a few indicators management actually tracks.
Signs the tool is not the problem
- The team updates the CRM only when asked.
- Leads go unanswered even though everything is recorded.
- Every salesperson works differently.
How DMX works
We start with the operation: we understand where opportunities are lost, organize the process and only then configure technology to support it.
